My Genius hour Reflection.

My Big Question Was: How can we recycle meterials in the nature trail with- out using money.

I answered this by: Queastions and our slide show

Challenges I faced were: Me and my buddy kept on arguing on where we were going to put our project.

Next time I would change: Next time I would rather be doing our project more often then our slide show

Pointillism

  Materials

• Search a flower with a vase
• Cotton buds
• White paper
• Paint
•  Sketching pencil [if you want]

               Instructions

1 First you need to search up what flower you would like to draw 2 After you drawed what you like grab the colours you want to use and with the paint that you're using go over the pencil with dots this affects the colour wheel. 3 After you finished your pointillism picture if you like add some shadows add a background to make it out stand more.

When I tried it, it was hard at the start but then it got easier.This is how it turned out for me.

The art exhibition

I stepped inside the door I peered inside the room my buddy was between my friend and I, I searched the room with my eyes there were all sorts of art there was lino printing, weaving, crochet, photography, origami, quilting. After I saw what everyone was doing I started to go to them one by one, my friend and my buddy and I first went to my friends auntie she was doing a tui but the way she did it she had a stick and a chalk the chalk was caller-taped onto the stick. She told us that the first person was a man there was a picture of him she had to imagine where everything was supposed to be.
We had to go now but I spotted a curios photo I told my friend if I could take a photo of it when I took a photo of it I tried to guess what it could be but I had no clue it was time to go so we headed out the door.

We thought of making a Paper mache of new Zealand

because we knew that new Zealand is one of the safest place for people that have injuries and the cares't hospital, we also know that new Zealand has beautiful grounds and trees that attracks animals and insects to come and enjoy the grounds/trees. The flowers help all insects to grow healthy and proud.

This is called a Adult CPR                                   
at 9 in the morning room 9                                    
went to the hall to learn how 
to save a person's life. we learned
how to do CPR on manikins.
Next we learned how to respond
to the patients by saying can you here me
and tap them on the  shoulders with two fingers. we also 
learned how to look for normal
breathing (in and out). we have a can do 
attitude. l know now how to save a person's life if their in danger.

At hamilton east school we had cross contry

all the kids had to race.
it starts at year 0's to year 6's.
when it was time for year 4 girls to race l started to get really exited.
miss D said to come at the starting place.
well all of us were exited and some of us were ready and some were not.
Erin warmed us up by doing star jumps. then miss D said when she bangs the blocks together then we go... she bangs them and we went. l speeded up a little with the girls l past heaps of girls. when it got up to the hill l slowed down. charlie and summer were in the lead l past the office and out the gate l saw whaea maria was chearing me on l kept on going. l ran a another lap charlie and summer were still in the lead. l just needed to go down a little hill. yay l made it l got a bottle top lid that had the number 3 in it yay l came 3erd. they took a photo of us and now lm going to go to into schools.
